Let me start with this with we love our dog Zade. Jeremy and I got him before we had any children, and he has been in the house since day one, we love our dog. I say this more as a reminder to myself than anything, especially since he has completely lost his mind to his "male parts". My parents have two labs in the house, one of which being a eligable female, this is where my recent problem has (no pun intended) arisen. We live within seeing distance of my parents house and Zade can smell her womanly fragrance from our house and it is driving him literally crazy! We have had some annoying problems with this in the past, but something is different this time because he is to the point of casteration, I even seriously considered taking care of the situation myself one day with a rubberband. He has stopped eating, he is constantly whining like he is in pain, and there is howling ALL night long. Tuesday night we hit an all time low, he took to peeing in my house. I have bragged about how easily house broken Zade was as a puppy, he only has accidents in our house when he has been sick - that is really it. So to have him walk outside with me, I see him go to the bathroom on the bush, walk inside look at me and pee on the floor, I am at a loss of words! An hour later he did the same thing to Jeremy, then ran from him when he
took him back outside. This alone is unheard of, Zade worships Jeremy and will do anything to get his approval (except apparently when a hot little chocolate lab is in heat!). Surprise guess where he ran to . . . yep my mom's house where he marked his territory twice and then attempted to do a number two, all on her deck! He has lost his ever lovin' mind! There was also another unfortunate incident involving poor Skyler's beloved tiger pillow, yes the love sac pictured here. The violation that occurred is beyond words, but before everyone completely freaks out I washed it right away and hopefully Skyler can eventually forgive Zade! I am writing this post mostly as a farewell to the manly parts that are driving him, and more importantly us, crazy. Farewell and good riddance I say!
