Dreams DO Come True!!!

I have hoped for this to happen, even dreamed about what it would be like if it did happen, but I never actually thought I would experience this joyous event in my life. And yet it is happening, it is real . . . Cafe Rio IS coming to Twin Falls!!!!! This is not expressing the utter happiness I feel in making this announcement! I was driving in Twin yesterday, minding my own business on a lunch break from my Ethics class (yuck), when I looked up and saw the sign that has forever changed my life. I literally heard angels singing the the Hallelujah Chorus!!! For those of you who are questioning my sanity (because you have not yet tasted the heaven that is Cafe Rio), do not judge me or my comments until you have tried the pork barbacoa burrito (enchalada style of course), or the salad, or the . . . you get my drift! Jeremy and I were introduced to Cafe Rio by my cousin Ren, she will always hold a special place in our heart for this, and we have been loyal patrons ever since. It is absolutely impossible for us to go to Utah and not visit a Cafe Rio, we are aware of all of our options from Logan to St. George! Prepare yourselves now, those of you who live in this area, the new place to be in Twin is on Blue Lakes Blvd. by the Dairy Queen. If you need someone to introduce you to the magic that is Cafe Rio, I will humbly volunteer my services. Dreams do come true, it CAN happen to you! (I apologize for the Cindrella reference, but with two girls it is to be expected).

  2. This is good news since I'm sure one of these days we'll be moving up to Idaho. There are just some things I refuse to part with, and my monthly chicken salad is one of them.

  5. You know that I was part of a weekly letter writing when we lived in Logan to get a Cafe Rio in Logan. We did it every Friday night when I worked at Juniper Inn. When I'm pregnant, the thought of cafe rio makes me sick. It's sad, because it really is great knowing that if you're having a bad day . . . Cafe Rio, you don't have time to cook . . . Cafe Rio, Date night, Game night, Family night . . . Cafe Rio, Cheap Dinner . . . Cafe Rio, In the mood for something that just makes you happy . . . Cafe Rio. Only 4 more months until the simple fix returns. I'm so happy for you guys though.
